Hi, I'm mariajosé — a San Diego-based artist with a deep love for the fleeting beauty of botanicals. My work blends abstraction with the organic forms of flowers and foliage, creating pieces that feel alive, layered, and full of quiet movement.
Every painting begins as an intuitive conversation between color, texture, and form. I work with oil, acrylic, and pastel — building pieces that evolve layer by layer, much like the flowers that inspire them. My work is now gallery represented and available for commissions worldwide.
